Bible Study Resources
Below are links to
websites that have programs or resources that may be helpful to you in
your study of God's word.
E-Sword - This is an
excellent bible program, and it's FREE! It has add-in modules for many
different versions of the bible. It also has commentaries, lexicons, and
dictionaries. This is one of the most useful tools to have when studying
the bible. Any serious bible student must have this program
(**Due to copyright issues brought
to our attention by Rick Meyers (the maker of E-Sword), we had to remove
our E-Sword add-on page.**).
Interlinear
Scripture Analyzer - For those of you who are Greek fans, here is the
website for you. This Greek/English interlinear program is perfect for
bible students who want to study the original language of the bible. This
FREE interlinear uses the Westcott-Hort text from 1881, combined with the
NA26/27 variants to give you one of the most up to date interlinears
around.
The
Sword Project - Similar to the e-sword program above. There are some
bible translations and other add-in modules available to this program that
aren't available to the e-sword program, and vice versa.
BibleGateway -
A website that offers a bible lookup in many different translations (about
18 English versions). A very useful tool to help compare different
renderings of the bible.
Crosswalk.com -
This website offers bible lookups in many different translations. It also
offers interlinears, lexicons, concordances, dictionaries, bible
commentaries and much more.
Bible
Commentary Page - This webpage is an excellent source for just about
any bible commentary there is. It is listed by the books of the bible and
has each person's commentary listed below that.
